The journey goes over the High Atlas and over the 2260m high Tizi-n-Tichka Pass with an overwhelming view. The steep road, lined with oak forests and nut trees, leads past the mud and stone houses of the Berber villages and rushing mountain streams. When the pass is crossed, the steep road descends into the almost lunar-like landscape of the Anti-Atlas and we reach Quartzazate, the Hollywood of Morocco (visit Kasbah Taorit), proceed to the Draa Valley. From the waters of the High Atlas has formed an elongated oasis, the Draà Valley, stretching from Ouarzazate to Mhamid. The most beautiful part of the oasis with millions of date palms stretches from Agdz to Zagora.

Before coming to the Sahara, we cross the serpentines in the Dades Gorge towards the Valley of the Roses. Continue to Tinghir, an oasis town, in the south of which the local Koran library is located for the onward journey. In the evening the breathtaking view of the sunset in the Sahara.

In the afternoon you will meet your camel caravan and depending on your preference, ride your camel or accompany the caravan on foot.
You will spend the coming days and nights with the caravan in the heart of the desert. You roam the dunes and experience unforgettable moments. Get to know real nomads and the life of the desert dwellers. We enjoy the evening in front of the tents around the campfire under the magical starry sky of Morocco. Stop in Tamegroute to visit the old Koran library.

After lunch you will meet your camel caravan and move with them to the oasis Sacrée Oum Laalag, where you will spend day and night. Dinner and overnight at “St. Exupéry” tent at the foot of the dunes. Visit of the old Koran library in Tamegroute.
