The Draa is the longest river in Morocco and, for most of its length, a green ribbon of date palms running between bare hills from Ouarzazate to Mhamid.
The place
The stretch between Agdz and Zagora is the densest, millions of palms, irrigated by channels cut centuries ago, with villages and kasbahs on both banks.
