The journey goes over the High Atlas and over the 2260m high Tizi-n-Tichka Pass with an overwhelming view. The steep road, lined with oak forests and nut trees, leads past the mud and stone houses of the Berber villages and rushing mountain streams. When the pass is crossed, the steep road descends into the almost lunar-like landscape of the Anti-Atlas and we reach Quartzazate, the Hollywood of Morocco (visit Kasbah Taorit), proceed to the Draa Valley. From the waters of the High Atlas has formed an elongated oasis, the Draà Valley, stretching from Ouarzazate to Mhamid. The most beautiful part of the oasis with millions of date palms stretches from Agdz to Zagora.

The city is a unique mixture of classic holiday oasis, trendy metropolis and 1001 nights. Not only the world-renowned art treasures (Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, El-Badi Palace, etc.), but also the extraordinary and diverse range of hotels have made the royal city famous. The overnight stay in a “riad” (hotel in restored old town houses) with cozy inner courtyards and roof terraces is certainly one of the highlights of a stay in Marrakech.
Stroll through the city’s picturesque markets (souks) and end the day on the famous Djemaa El Fna square. The atmosphere is incomparable. The square is a stage for life, a fairground, an open-air theatre, a street restaurant, a fair and a circus arena.

On the camel treks with our calm and sure-footed dromedaries, each guest gets their own riding camel and we are accompanied by pack camels, which carry the luggage, tents and groceries. Our riding and pack camels are extremely peaceful and calm animals that are used to walking with us. You can enjoy the scenery on horseback or walk next to your dromedary on the soft sand.
Experience a strong bond with nature as you trek through the desert with the animals for a day or more. We avoid hectic and stress and quickly find the evenly calm beat of the caravan.
Between the hikes over rocky deserts and through beautiful dune landscapes, your reliable companions prepare a plentiful picnic under shady acacia and tamarisk trees. After the break, the trek continues until your companions reach a nice night camp, pitch our tents and our cook will prepare for you a typical Moroccan dinner around the campfire. And again and again you will be spoiled with the traditional desert tea.
Spend the nights in one of the typical nomad tents or, if you like, under the unique starry sky of the Sahara!
